  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 指針を駆動するステツプモータと、 ステツプモータのステツプ数を位置データとし
    、指針の現在の位置データを基準に次の表示位置
    までの駆動ステツプ数を演算し、この駆動ステツ
    プ数に対応した駆動パルスを供給することにより
    上記ステツプモータを所定の更新時間単位毎に駆
    動制御する演算・制御手段とを設けてなる針式表
    示装置において、 上記駆動パルスのパルス周波数を上記駆動ステ
    ツプ数に対応させて変調すると共に、上記更新時
    間内における最初の駆動パルスを発生するタイミ
    ングを制御する駆動パルス周波数変調・制御手段
    を設けてなる針式表示装置。
