Abstract
PURPOSE:To make design work efficient and to form an easily understandable program by providing the titled device with a means for dividing a processing flow into processing flow elemental chips and a means for coupling respective flow elemental chips, a defining means, a specifying/editing means, and a storing means. CONSTITUTION:A processing flow on the stage of program design is divided into processing flow elemental chips by a processing flow elemental chip dividing means 13 and these chips are stored in processing flow elemental chip storing means 20 and the relation of these chips is stored in a processing flow elemental chip group relation storing means 19. One of these chips is repeatedly specified and edited, the chip is developed into another chip or the chip is independently defined on the outside as a module to complete the processing flow. Since both the consideration and design of the program can be simultaneously executed by allowing a designer to optionally work the processing flow elemental chips in a machine, the number of processes of the design can be reduced, and since the processing flow is divided into plural processing flow elemental chips, the quantity of information to be processed at a time can be reduced and an easily understandable program can be formed.
