Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition suitable for general paved roads, iced roads and snowed roads, comprising specified proportion of natural rubber etc. and a polybutadiene with the cis content predominant and the Shore A hardnesses at the corresponding respective specified temperatures specifically correlated. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprising (A) 30-100pts.wt. of a polybutadiene having the following characteristics: 1. cis content ... >=98%, 2. difference DELTAA between the Shore A hardnesses at -5 deg.C and 23 deg.C respectively ...<=4 and 3. ratio: DELTAB/DELTAA ... 1.0-1.5 (where DELTAB refers to difference between the Shore A hardnesses at -20 deg.C and 23 deg.C respectively) and (B) 0-70pts.wt. of natural rubber and/or a diene-based synthetic rubber (except styrene-butadiene rubbers with the styrene content of >=30%).
