Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to install the title space cooler/heater easily and simply by providing a heat radiation/absorption plate made of thermoelectric elements on the surface of a hollow partition plate and also providing fan and a control part at the inner part of the partition plate to circulate air for heat absorption on the rear surface of the heat absorption plate to the hollow part, in the radiation type space cooler/heater used for furnitures in an office. CONSTITUTION:A hollow partition plate 1 is disposed so that it surrounds a worktable 16 and discharged ports 12 and 13 of a second cross flow fan 9 are positioned on the upper side of the worktable 16. During the space cooling operation, a controller 15 is operated and power is supplied thereto so that the front side of the heat radiation/absorption plate 5 functions to absorb heat and the rear surface thereof functions to radiate heat to drive cross flow fans 8 and 9 by the Peltier effect of thermoelectric elements 6. By this construction, air within a compartment circulates and heat is absorbed on the surface of the heat radiation/absorption plate 5 and cools the same. Heat of the heat absorption plate 5 is removed by air passing through the partition plate 1 using the fan 8. When power is supplied in a reverse manner, space heating is attained. Thus, installation of the radiation type space cooler/heater is facilitated.
