Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the increase in size and cost of an instrument by superimposing a flexible printed wiring board at U and S turn portions and an extension portion in an annular space one over another. CONSTITUTION:In a lens to which an FPC board mounting structure is applied, conventional FPC boards 12 and 14 are superimposed one over another within an annular space 16. For this, the FPC board occupies only one position on a circular arc in the annular space. Accordingly, the annular space is not divided into two semicircular parts, thereby increasing the utility of the annular space. In addition, the widths of the respective FPC boards are the same and hence there is no need of making larger the diameter of a fixed outer cylinder 3, a fixed inner cylinder 1, and a straight circular cylinder 2. Additionally, the numbers of recessed portions 1c and slits 1b can be reduced compared with conventional ones, thereby reducing the processing cost and increasing the mechanical rigidity of the fixed inner cylinder 1.
