Abstract
PURPOSE:To extremely efficiently obtain many regenerated plant bodies in a short period, by bringing unripe embryos into contact with a culture medium containing 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D), sucrose and glucose to form spherical embryos and bringing the resultant embryos into contact with a culture medium without containing the 2,4-D. CONSTITUTION:Unripe embryos are extracted from unripe seeds of soybeans and bedded on an agar culture medium containing 0.5-20mg/l 2,4-D and <=4% sucrose or glucose to form spherical embryos, which are then transplanted to a culture medium free of 2,4-D and cultivated to extremely efficiently provide many regenerated plant bodies.
