Abstract

PURPOSE:To detect a specified flow rate, by providing a paddle, which is supported in a liquid so that the paddle is freely swung, a cylinder, which is provided at right angles to the flowing direction, a shaft, which is provided in the cylinder so that the shaft is freely reciprocated, and a cam device, which converts the swing motion of the paddle into the reciprocating motion of the shaft. CONSTITUTION:When a fluid flows, a paddle 13 and a cam 15 are swung into the direction of an arrow L1 as a unitary body. A shaft 19 is pushed upward by the swinging motion of the cam 15. When the fluid flows by a specified flow rate or more, the paddle 13 and the cam 15 largely swing accordingly, and the moving stroke of the shaft in the upward direction becomes large. When a magnet 21 reaches a position corresponding to a read switch 23, the reed switch 23 is operated, and the flowing at the specified flow rate is detected. When the fluid does not flow any more, the paddle 13 and the cam 15 are returned to a position shown by a solid line in the Figure. Therefore, the shaft 19 is lowered, and the operation of the read switch 23 is released.
