Abstract
PURPOSE:To stably rotate a motor to be measured at a specific rotating speed and to improve measurement accuracy by bringing a roller member into contact with the rotor of the motor to be measured and rotating it at the specific rotating speed. CONSTITUTION:Electric power is supplied to a driving device 21 to rotate a rubber roller 20. The rotor 12 of the motor 31 to be measured rotates at, for example, about 10rpm by the rotation of the rubber roller 20. While the rotor 12 rotates, the measured value of a measuring instrument 15 is confirmed. Consequently, various measurement of the object spindle motor 30 (e.g. deflection of a spindle shaft 10, surface waviness of a spindle hub 11, etc.) are taken. Thus, the rotor 12 of the motor 31 to be measured is rotated by the rubber roller 20 to rotate the rotor 12 at the invariably constant rotating speed, and variation in measurement result is precluded.
