Abstract

PURPOSE:To automate communication between optional terminal stations by assiging a specific reception channel in advance to each terminal station, and allowing a caller station to detect the presence of a carrier of the specific reception channel assigned to a called station. CONSTITUTION:When a modulator/demodulator M2 detects a carrier of a reception channel ch2, the modulator-demodulator M2 decides whether or not a carrier detection signal outputted to a computer C2 is turned on and when the carrier detection signal is not turned on the execution of the program is finished. When the carrier detection signal is decided to be turned on, an identification data sent from a caller station T1 to the reception channel ch2 is received and its identification data is inputted. Then the reception channel ch1 specific to the caller station T1 is specified from the identification data and the control data to set the transmission channel of the called station T2 to the reception channel specific to the caller station T1 is outputted to the modulator-demodulator 2.
