Abstract

PURPOSE:To selectively adsorb only an anti-DNA antibody substantially without losing effective components of body-fluid, by fixing a compound with an anionic functional group to a water-insoluble porous material. CONSTITUTION:A removing apparatus for an anti-DNA antibody includes an adsorbent 3, filters or meshes 4 and 5 which are disposed in a container 7 with a fluid inlet 1 and an outlet 2. The adsorbent 3 is prepared by fixing a compound with an anionic functional group to a water-insoluble porous material; it is formed, for example, by polymerization using a compound containing an anionic functional group or a functional group which can be easily converted to an anionic one as a monomer or a bridge formation agent.
