Abstract

PURPOSE:To coat a baser metal on the surface of a Cu base material with high adhesiveness without deteriorating the electrical conductivity of the Cu base material to improve the corrosion resistance thereby by coating the base- metal on the surface of the Cu base material, then heating the material in an induction heating furnace, thereby forming the diffused layer of the base- metal. CONSTITUTION:Zn or the like as the metal baser than Cu is coated on the surface of brass pipes 1 or copper fins 2 and is acted as a sacrificial anode in order to improve the corrosion resistance of said pipes or fins at the time of producing a heat radiator by mounting the Cu fins 2 to the brass pipes 1.
