Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce multi-colored, flocked sheet where flocked parts and patterned parts have the same tone without impairing hand and feel by printing patterns on a substrate sheet using a tacky agent added with sublimating dye and by fixing flocking piles on it, followed by heating the piles so as to be dyed. CONSTITUTION: The method of this invention is to perform the printing 2 of patterns on a substrate sheet 1 using a tacky agent or an adhesive (e.g. acrylic resin emulsion or the like) both added with sublimating dye and to fix flocking piles 3A (e.g. synthetic fiber piles) on it, followed by heating the piles so as to dye flocked piles with the sublimating dye and to make colored piles 3B occur. The method enables us to simply dye flocked piles over their entire length without impairing hand and feel and without requiring register in flocking them.
