Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a finder with high magnification compact by setting the finder of a single lens reflex electronic camera as a secondary image-formation type and properly folding an optical path. CONSTITUTION:Image-formation luminous flux which is formed into an image on a focusing plate 8 passes through a condenser lens 9 and its optical axis is shifted to an object side and the image is enlarged to be formed again on a secondary image-formation surface 14 through a prism 10, a secondary image- formation lens 11, a mirror 12 which reflects the luminous flux to an observation side and a mirror 13. Since the left and right direction is inverted with the secondary image-formation system in the secondary image-formation type finder like this, a roof prism face need not be used and the optical system can be simplified. Thus, in the secondary image-formation system single lens reflex camera, the optical performance of the finder can be favorably maintained and the finder can be made compact.
