Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily obtain a projected image which is bright enough to be viewed even in an outdoor place or a bright place by using plural LC projectors and projecting the image on the same screen. CONSTITUTION:In a liquid crystal (LC) projector 1, an LCD 3 is used in order to obtain the image enlarged by a lens 4 to be projected on a screen 2. Since the LCD 3 has a matrix structure, the synthesis of the image at the time of projecting is simple and since an optical unit is a thin type, plural units can be superposed. When the image is projected on the same screen by using plural LC projectors 1, the projected image on the screen 2 can be made clear and the synthesis of the image can be easily executed in a simple method.
