The photosensitive layer containing this compound can be prepared by mixing it with a polymerizable film forming binder, and a solvent to form a coating fluid and applying it, and forming a film, thus permitting the obtained electrophotographic sensitive body to be improved in fundamental electrophotographic characteristics, such as photosensitivity, acceptance potential, and residual potential, and durability.
