Abstract

PURPOSE:To select whether a calling subscriber executes the extension representative beforehand or the subscriber calls independently all extensions to belong to a representative group by providing a representative selecting group independently from a general extension number. CONSTITUTION:A representative selecting group number and an extension representative group, to which extension subscribers 2-4 belong, are registered by station data beforehand, and stored in the memory area of a main memory device 8 together with the subscriber information. When an extension subscriber 1 dials a representative selecting group, the figure information is received by a register 6, a central control unit 7 judges that the received information is the extension representative selecting request of a group, and executes the representative selection in accordance with the extension representative program stored in the main memory device 8. In such a case, since extension subscribers 2 and 3 are busy, the central control unit 7 selects and connects the extension subscriber 4 which is an idle extension. On the other hand, the extension subscriber 1 individually transmits to the extension subscribers 2-4 and then, the individual extension number is dialed.
