Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure the hermetical sealability of a bag and to easily remove an inferior product, by placing a hollow body having a flexible film between the bag and a press apparatus and detecting pressure change accompanying volumetric change generated corresponding to pressing from above and below by said hollow body. CONSTITUTION:A hermetically sealed bag 1 is allowed to intermittently advance by the feed piece 21 advancing in a guide groove 24 by the endless chain mounted to a transfer apparatus 25. Next, the up-and-down motion of a cam is transmitted to a connection lever 15 and a press arm 13 is moved up and down along the guide plate provided to a support 16 and the hermetically sealed bag 1 is pressed by a hollow body 2. The operation of the hollow body 2 is stopped at this press position for a while and the change state of the pressure in the hollow body 2 is investigated before the press arm 13 is drawn up to be returned to the original position. This cycle is repeatedly performed. At this time, pressure rises to definite pressure from atmospheric pressure and is held at that pressure as it is in the case of a good product but rapidly or gradually falls in the case of an inferior product and returns to the original atmospheric pressure by drawing up the press arm 13 at last. The feed piece 21 is intermittently stopped in order to continue pressing for a definite time.
