Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a pneumatic tire, by blending specific amounts of a specific p-phenylenediamine derivative and specified carbon black in combination and using the resultant rubber composition having improved gripping performance without impairing characteristics, such as heat resistance, in a tread. CONSTITUTION:A pneumatic tire obtained by blending 100pts.wt. raw material rubber consisting of natural rubber and/or synthetic rubber with (A) 2.5-20pts. wt. p-phenylenediamine derivative expressed by formula I or II (R is alkyl, cycloalkyl, etc.) (e.g. N-methacryloyl-N'-phenyl-p-phenylenediamine) and (B) 40-150pts.wt. carbon black having 110-190m<2>/g nitrogen adsorption specific surface area (N2SA) and 100-140ml/100g dibutyl phthalate oil absorption (DBP value).
