Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a developer from being deposited and to prevent an image from being affected by the scattering of a developer by providing a scraping member which extends to a conveyor roller slantingly and abuts on the lower end surface of the conveyor roller while deforming elastically. CONSTITUTION:The scraping member 8 made of a flexible material such as a polyester film is provided in the main body 2 of a cleaning device. The scraping member 8 consists of a base part 81 which extends in the same direction with the center axis of the conveyor roller 6 and many scraping pieces 82 which extend from the base part 81, and the respective scraping pieces 82 move up and down while abutting on the lower end surface of the blade 62 of the conveyor roller 6 is response to the rotation of the roller 6, thereby scraping a developer deposited under the conveyor roller 6. Consequently, the developer is prevented from being deposited owing to a defect in conveyance.
