Abstract

PURPOSE: To decrease the number of wires and man-hours for wiring by displaying 1st and 2nd pieces of information by dynamic driving on a 1st and a 2nd display means while a 1st and a 2nd common electrode are alternately driven. CONSTITUTION: The 1st display means 10 has an electrode, plural 1st display pattern electrodes 12, as the 1st common electrode 15. Further, the 2nd display means 20 has, an electrode facing plural 2nd display pattern electrodes 21, as the 2nd common electrode 22 and while the 1st and 2nd common electrodes 15 and 22 are alternately driven, the 1st and 2nd display means 10 and 20 are dynamically driven to display the 1st and 2nd pieces of information. Consequently, the 1st and 2nd pieces of information are displayed by dynamic driving while wires between the 1st and 2nd common electrodes 15 and 22 and a driving source 70 which drives them alternately are put together in one wire state.
