PURPOSE: To miniaturize a luminaire by thinning it, and to enhance illumination efficiency under a lamp by horizontally placing a single base lamp on the lower surface of a luminaire body and by protruding it from the side of the luminaire body. CONSTITUTION: Plural lamp sockets 5 are attached outward at even intervals to the lower surface of the peripheral part of a reflecting plate 3 of a luminaire 1, and an almost U-shaped single base lamp 6 is mounted to each lamp socket 5 with every two lamps adjacently placed.
