Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an exact and speedy merchandise purchase system at a low cost by writing or summerizing order data while utilizing IC card, and successively transferring the summerized order data to a main computer. CONSTITUTION: Merchandise data are written from a main computer 20 at a head office 16 through a terminal equipment 24 and a reader/writer 26 at each branch office 12 to a sum-up IC card 28 in on-line mode. A person 14 in charge writes the merchandise data into an order IC card 30 by using a handy reader/writer 32. The order IC card 30 is delivered from a group leader to a person 14 in charge and the order data are written into the sum-up IC card 28 by the handy reader/writer 32. The sump-up IC card 28, in which a lot of order data are written, is loaded to the reader/writer 26 at each branch office 12 and the order data are transferred from the terminal equipment 24 to the main computer 20 at the head office 16. The order data summed-up at the head office 16 are sent to a merchandise delivery center 18 and merchandise is delivered.
