Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of overrich at tine of acceleration, by a method wherein, a device to non-synchronously inject during detection of acceleration, when acceleration is detected again during a set period after detection of acceleration, non-synchronous injection in a set period is prohibited. CONSTITUTION:Detecting values from an intake air pressure sensor 7, a crank angle sensor 11, a throttle sensor 13, and an idle switch 14 are inputted to an electronic control device 6, and the opening time of a fuel injection valve 5 is computed and controlled. When an acceleration state is detected based on the detecting value from the throttle sensor 13, the electronic control device 6 executes non-synchronous injection, and measures a time after detection of acceleration. When acceleration is detected again in a set period starting from detection of acceleration, non-synchronous injection is prohibited.
