Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve a noise screening effect by constructing a noise screen for an ignition coil in a structure wherein a non-rigid magnetic material and a high conducting material are laminated by way of synthetic resin adhesives. CONSTITUTION:A noise screen 11 is constituted in such a way that a silicon steel sheet 12a as a non-rigid magnetic material having a high permeability and a laminated sheet 12 forming an aluminum film 12b as a high conducting material are laminated by way of a thermal fusing film 13 of a denatured ployetylene family so as to let the aforesaid laminated material be rolled one time into a boil form for butting the ends 12c thereof together. Magnetic noise by magnetic flux generated by an ignition coil is positively absorbed by both the high permeability of the steel sheet 12a and a magnetic space formed by the film 13. Magnetic waves from the ignition coil is nullified by the aluminum film 12b of the high conducting material. And when two laminated sheets 12 are rolled into a coil form, butting joints 12c can be closely bonded with high accuracy, thereby preventing noise from the butting joints 12c from being filtrated. Noise therefore from a low frequency zone generated by the ignition coil over to a high frequency zone can surely be screened.
