Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce driving power as well as to lower the temperature of exhaust gas by providing a bypass auxiliary means for a front side block, which leads refrigerant gas in a compression chamber to a suction chamber when a gas compressor is operated with its capacity lowered. CONSTITUTION:A front side block is provided with NO.2 bypass hole 22 so as to communicate NO.2 bypass hole 22 with a communicating hole 12 through a communicating passage in a pipe form 23 for communicating a suction passage 16 with a cylinder chamber (a). This constitution eliminates the occurrence of bypass loss so as to enable a smooth bypass effect to be obtained, thereby reducing driving power and lowering temperature of exhaust gas as well.
