Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable effective detection of the inclination of one to another object as well as distance between the two objects, by providing second reflectors in the perimeter of an ultrasonic sensor facing a reflector. CONSTITUTION:Second reflectors 20 and 22 are arranged facing a reflector 30 in the perimeter of an ultrasonic sensor 10 to receive or transmit an ultrasonic wave. The reflectors 20 and 22 input a secondary reflected wave into the ultrasonic sensor 10 delayed from a direct wave returned being reflected from the reflector 30 provided on an object to be measured. This permits the obtaining of information pertaining to a distance by a primary wave and that pertaining to the right and left inclination by the secondary wave.
