Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily detect the presence or the absence of respective disks housed in trays by providing an opening part to attain the presence absence detection of the respective disks on the respective trays from the outside of a case in a position to face the concave part of the trays of the case. CONSTITUTION:Through an opening part 13c provided in the position to which a concave part 12a of the tray in a condition in which a tray 12 of a housing case 13 is housed, the presence or the absence of a disk 11 fitted on the tray 12 is detected. That is to say, when the housing case 13 to house the tray 12 on which the disk 11 is fitted is fitted to a main body in an arrow A direction, the front edge of the housing case 13 comes into contact with a detecting part 15a, a lever 15 turns in an arrow B direction, a switch 14 is inserted from the opening part 13c of the housing case 13, comes into contact with one part 11a of the outline of the disk 11, thus, the switch 14 operates and it can be detected that the disk is present. When the disc is absent, the switch 14 does not operate. Thus, a performance start can be smoothly executed.
