A filter 3 is provided at the outlet of the multiple aperture 2. A film 5 is placed under the photographing table 4. The patient's head and neck 6 is placed on a photographing table 4, irradiated with X-rays 7, and photographed on a film 5. The conditions for head and neck imaging are anode voltage 85kV, anode current 600mA, and imaging time.
It is about 0.05mS.

If the X-ray intensity is adjusted so that the exposed areas are properly exposed, the boneless areas will be overexposed, and in Film 5, the boneless areas will be too dark. Conversely, if the X-ray intensity is adjusted to properly expose areas without bones, areas with bones will appear too white. In any case, conventional X-ray photography has the disadvantage that it is difficult to obtain properly exposed X-ray photographs.

The present invention provides a photographic filter.

The outer peripheral edge is preferably flat, but may be sloped. A rectangular mounting plate 13 that surrounds and holds the metal member 11 is attached.

られる。 The filter for head and neck X-ray imaging of the present invention constructed in this manner does not absorb X-rays at the center of the ring or at the open ring portion 12, but absorbs X-rays increasing toward the outer periphery. When head and neck X-ray photography is performed using this filter, the X-ray intensity in areas with bones is high and the X-ray intensity in areas without bones is low, and the amount of exposure to the film 5 is balanced, making it easy to see the X-rays. Linear fluorographs are obtained.
