Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a conductive sheet which is suitable for an electrode for high tension obtainable by compounding polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE) powder with conductive powder, and by forming the compound into a sheet. CONSTITUTION:An electrode for high tension is formed into a sheet composed of PTFE and conductive materials. Various kinds of material can be used as conductive materials and, metal powder of copper, silver or the like, carbon powder, graphite powder can be considered as preferred examples. The particle sizes of these conductive materials in use are usually approx. 0.1-300mum, and the compounding ratio of these conductive materials to 100 weight parts of the PTFE powder are usually 2-100 weight parts, desirably 25-100 weight parts. By compounding the conductive materials together in the above-mentioned ratios, the electrode for high tension can reduce its electric resistance to 1kOMEGA or less. Therefore, the electrode for high tension which has an excellent heat resistance and is easily removable from a tested body can be obtained.
