Consequently, only parts where detection sensitivity is relatively excellent are used and the border parts between the plastic scintillation detectors 51 and 52, 61 and 62 arranged at right angles to the conveying direction of the conveyor 1 and both side parts of detection effective width are discarded, thereby uniforming and increasing the detection sensitivity at right angles to the conveyor conveying direction.
