Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent clogging, besides, to catch surely small particles by holding active carbon layers between filter materials and by arranging more than one filter materials, whose textures become increasingly finer from top to bottom, upon the active carbon layers. CONSTITUTION:A filter F consists of a container 1 composed of a casing 10 and a lid 11, and active carbon particles 2 are packed in that container 1. Among filter materials 3, 4 which constitute the lid 11, the upper layer material 3 is made of a coarse texture material such as a nonwoven fabric of polyester fibers, and the lower layer material 4 is made of a fine texture material such as a blended fabric of a polyester fibers and natural cotton fibers to remove fine particles. The casing 10 is made of a filter material 5 which is finer than the material 4 so as to clarify an oil efficiently and also to prevent a clogging.
