Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an air cleaning device which allows no leakage of polluted air therefrom, by making a partition plate between a pressure chamber which is pressurized by a fan provided in an air cleaning device and an air cleaning chamber located after a filter airtight by means of sealing members. CONSTITUTION:An air cleaning device 1 is made up of a case 2, a fan 3, a high performance filter 4, and a pretreatment filter 5, wherein the case 2 is divided into a first chamber 6 as a fan room, a second chamber 8 as a pressure room, and a third chamber 10 as a clean air room. The high performance filter 4 is secured to a partition plate 7 which is fixed by washers provided in the case. Grooved portions are formed between the partition plate 7 and the inner surface of the case 2, which groove portions are packed wit sealing members 33 to improve airtightness.
