Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to externally read and write recording data by providing a data recording means including a radio section and a memory section in an article storage container, and by providing a read/write means including a radio section and a read/write control section at an introduction and delivery gate so that signals are transmitted between both means. CONSTITUTION:When an article is stored in a storage container, a read/write means 12 detects the arrival of a container 10, and a warehouse control computer 13 transmits article managing data to a data recording means 11 in the container 10 through a radio section 121. In the data recording means 11, the article managing data is received by a radio section 112 and is stored in a memory section 111. In response to an instruction from the warehouse control computer 13, the read/write means 13 transmits a read instruction to the data recording means 11. Data which the data recording means 11 has read from the memory section 111 is stored in memory in the read/write means 12, and is transmitted under a demand by the control computer 13. With this constitution, it is possible to externally read and write recording data.
