Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency and safety of operation for compaction work by a method in which a penetrating column connected to a hammer device is lowered with the hammer device and a filler is injected into the striking hole. CONSTITUTION:A hammer device 16 is supported in a vertically movable manner on the vertical guide 15 of a leader 11 supported on the arm 2 of a traveling vehicle for working (a). The lower ground-contact face of a penetrating column 18 for compaction, integrally connected to the end of the hammer device 16F, is contacted with the ground all the time, and the column 18 is continuously driven by the hammer device 16 to compact the same position of the ground. When the column 18 is pulled up from the striking hole, a filler is injected from a filler supply port 33 in the lower end of the column 18 into the pit formed. The same position of the ground can thus be continuously and exactly compacted with raised operation efficiency.
