Abstract

A semiconductor device is manufactured to the substrate 1, the bonding pad 2 as an electrode section for the Al wiring is shaped to the substrate 1, and the solder layer 3 is formed onto the bonding pad 2 through a titanium layer 5 and a silver layer 6. A chip 7 is mounted to a case, and a conductor terminal for the case and the solder layer 3 are connected by employing the gold wire 8. Solder is melted through heating at a temperature higher than the melting point of solder, and the connecting section 9 of the solder layer 3 and the gold wire 8 is alloyed.
