Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a device, in which the effect of switching noises, etc., mixed into a picture signal output is reduced, from which the picture signal output having an excellent S/N ratio is acquired and which can increase the speed of image reading, by driving a photoelectric transducer, which is divided into (m) picture elements times (n) blocks in a circuit manner, by time-division drive at every block. CONSTITUTION:A photoelectric conversion layer 133 having a plurality of continuous photoelectric transducers arranged in one dimension, (n) common connecting wiring means 134 connecting each one end of a plurality of said photoelectric transducers shaped to the photoelectric conversion layer 133 in common at every (m) element and composing (n) element rows, row wiring means 135 separately connected at each other end of respective element at every common connecting wiring means 134, (m) line means 136 mutually connecting these row wiring means 135 on every m+1 means 135, and a selecting means for selecting the connection of these line wiring means 136 in succession are provided. The number (m) of said line wiring means 136 and the number (n) of the common connecting wiring means 134 are brought to the common divisors of the total number of the photoelectric transducers.
