Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a leakage breaker with reduced work processes and high reliability by directly fitting both a movable contact and a fixed contact constituting a test switch mechanism to a printed circuit board in advance. CONSTITUTION:A printed circuit board 17 mounted with an amplifier 8 is installed vertically, i.e., with its plane set nearly parallel with the moving direction of a test button. A movable contact 20 and a fixed contact 21 are directly fitted to the printed circuit board 17, the movable contact 20 is formed with an elastic belt-shaped body and supported at one end so that the longitudinal direction is set nearly perpendicular to the printed circuit board 7, it is bent when the test button 5 is depressed, and the other end (free end) is brought into contact with the fixed contact 21. The fixed contact 21 is formed by folding a belt-shaped member into a U-shape, the fitting position to the printed circuit board 7 is set to the position below the movable contact 21 at the fixed distance, and tips of both folded sections 21a of the fixed contact 21 folded into a U-shape are supported nearly perpendicularly to the printed circuit board 7.
