Abstract

PURPOSE: To automatically wash rice without the need of labor, to simplify a structure and to facilitate handling by providing a water supply route and a water discharge route provided on a main body bottom part so as to be communicated to the water discharge port of an inner frame. CONSTITUTION: A water supply means composed of a water supply pipe 24, a solenoid valve 25 for supplying water and the water discharge ports 26 and 27 and a water discharge means composed of a water discharge pipe 28, the solenoid valve 29 for discharging the water, the water discharge port 30, a water discharge path 13 and water discharge holes 14 and 15 are provided on the inner bottom part of a main body 1. By controlling the opening and closing of the solenoid valve 25 for supplying the water and the solenoid valve 29 for discharging the water, the water is automatically jetted and supplied from the bottom surface of a pot 10 to the inside of the pot 10. Then, dust on the outer surface of the rice inside the pot 10 is washed off by the water stream and further, the excessive water of the pot 10 is made to flow out from the water discharge holes 14 and 15 through a clearance 12 and the water discharge pipe 28 to the outside. The rice is automatically washed by flowing water, the labor of a user is not required for washing the rice and the outer surface of the rice is not shaven.
