Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily perform examination difficult only by a visible light image using near infrared rays, by providing the first irradiation means irradiating an object with near infrared rays through a light guide, the second irradiation means irradiating the object with visible light through a light guide and a means for performing selective control operating one of two irradiation means. CONSTITUTION:A beam path change-over apparatus 2 composed of a beam splitter is arranged on one end side of a light guide 1 composed of a glass fiber and a reflecting mirror is arranged above said change-over apparatus 2 at a predetermined angle and, further, a laser apparatus 4 is arranged. A color wheel 8 rotationally driven at a predetermined speed and a shutter 7 are arranged on the right-hand side of the beam path change-over apparatus 2 and, further, a beam source lamp 5 and a concave mirror 6 are arranged. Then, the shutter 7 is revolved and visible light reaches an object 11 from the beam source lamp 5 through the color wheel 8, the beam path change-over apparatus 2 and an LG1, and at the same time, near infrared rays reach the object 11 through the laser apparatus 4, a reflecting mirror 3 and the beam path change-over apparatus 2. In this state, a visible light image and a near infrared ray image can be observed on the picture of a monitor television 18 in an overlapped state.
