Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an auxiliary device for operation convenient to handle and having simple constitution, by providing a suction part constituting an extracorporeal auxiliary recirculation circuit mechanically performing the assistance and vicarious execution of the pump action of the heart temporarily with respect to the operation of the heart. CONSTITUTION:A mat part 10 is formed by integrally molding a large number of spot like projections 12 each having a circular cross-section on the upper surface of a base plate 11 molded from soft plastic over the almost entire surface thereof. The projections 12 are provided so as to mutually provide appropriate intervals therebetween to form flow passages 19 between projections. The flow passages 19 are allowed to continue to the recessed part 13 formed to the base plate from one end side thereof to the central part thereof. A suction part 20 has a tube 21 composed of transparent soft plastic and a suction port 24 for sucking a liquid is provided to the mount end surface of the tube 21 by drilling and suction holes 25 are provided to the region adjacent to said end surface at the upper and lower as well as left and right parts thereof by drilling. Therefore, the unnecessary liquid such as blood or body fluid generated from an operation region can be allowed to smoothly flow in the tube.
