Abstract

PURPOSE:To satisfy not only strength but also cost-down by installing a follower meshing part consisting of a linear recess groove formed to a circumference on a follower rotation transmitting shaft and installing a driving meshing part which fits in the recess groove and can transmit the rotation on the tip of a driving rotation transmitting shaft. CONSTITUTION:When a lens barrel 2 is fitted on a camera main body 1, the projecting driving meshing part formed on the driving rotation transmitting shaft 13 of the camera main body side 1 meshes with the follower meshing part, which is the recess groove formed on the follower rotation transmitting shaft 60 of the lens barrel 2 side. Since the follower rotation transmitting shaft 60 is formed so that its cross section becomes nearly circular and the linear recess groove which reaches the circumference is formed on the tip of the follower meshing part, the meshing part can be comparatively easily formed just by cutting the groove on the tip of the shaft. Meanwhile, since acute angled parts are formed on the circumference in a projecting part except the groove, the shaft is comparatively easily damaged. But since said shaft is a transmitting member set on the lens barrel 2 side, it has a few chance to be damaged. Thus, requests such as the strength and the cost-down can be simultaneously obtained.
