Abstract

PURPOSE:To save power necessary to signal transmission and to improve the reliability of a device by making a transmitting line into a non-differential condition when the condition of a signal to be transmitted is not changed for a constant time. CONSTITUTION:A delaying circuit (DLY) and an exclusive 'or' gate (XOR) in an output circuit 2, when a pulse signal inputted between input terminals 21A and 21B is changed, activate monostable multivibrators (MMV) 1 and 2. Thus, new transmitting data are fetched into a DFF 1 and the new data are transmitted to a reception circuit 4. At the reception circuit 4, the transmitted data are supplied to photocouplers (PC) 1 and 2 and the output signal of PC 1 and 2 is added through DFF 2 and 3 to an XOR 2. The output signal of the XOR 2 is added through AND 1 and 2 and DFF 4-5 to a coincidence detecting circuit EQU 1. When the stored data and the signal guided up to the DFF 4 are coincident, the transmitted data are guided to an output terminal 42A.
