Abstract
PURPOSE:To steepen attenuation characteristics at a frequency value lower than a passing frequency band by setting up the length of an inner conductor of a band pass filter having a higher passing frequency to a value slightly longer than 1/4 wavelength. CONSTITUTION:The length l3 of the inner conductor 9 of a comb line type band pass filter ..(BPF) 31 is set up to a value slightly shorter than 1/4 wavelength of the center frequency of passing band frequency of the BPF 31. Thereby, attenuation characteristics on the side higher than the passing band are steepened. On the other hand, the length l4 of the inner conductor 10 of a BPF 32 is set up to a value slightly longer than the 1/4 wavelength. Thereby, the attenuation characteristics on the side lower than the passing band are steepened and mutual coupling between both the inner conductors goes to weak electrostatic coupling C. Therefore, the mutual interval between both the conductors can be minimized.
