Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of transmission and to reduce the cost of equipment by time-dividedly and multiplxedly transmitting the information of a line exchange mode and the information of an accumulation exchanging mode to one time-divided transmission line. CONSTITUTION:After storing plural subscribers 13-1-13-3 in respective subscriber's lines 14-1-14-3, the information of the line exchange mode and the information of an ATM mode are time-dividedly multiplexed by a hybrid exchanging collected line multiplexing device 15 and sent to a time-divided transmission line 16-1. A transmission terminal station 17-2 separates the information of the line exchange mode from the information of the ATM mode, a line exchange channel 18 and an ATM exchange channel 19 individually exchage respective separated information and a transmission terminal station 17-3 multiplexes the separated information components again time-dividedly to send the time-dividedly multiplexed information to a time-divided transmission line 16-2. Consequently, the information of the line exchange mode and the information of the accumulation exchange mode can be transmitted juxtaposed with one time-divided transmission line.
