Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten waiting time for packet communication and to reduce the occupation band of boundary information by dividing a frame into plural subframes and forming a control field in each subframe. CONSTITUTION:The frame is divided into four subframes and constituted of a synchronizing signal F and control slots C1-C4 formed in respective subframes and each subframe is constituted of the slot and a pay load for carrying a line exchanging signal and packet exchanging signal. Transmission control is transmitted/received in each subframe and slot allocation information for the line exchanging signal and the packet exchanging signal is executed in the preceding frame so as to be divided in each subframe. Since the transmission control is executed in each subframe, the speed of operation can be increased.
