Abstract

PURPOSE:To laminate three sheets or more of flat plastic plates without impairing flatness by a method wherein the (n-2)th and the (n-1)th flat thermoplastic resin plates are ultrasonically welded together and further the (n)th flat thermoplastic resin plate is put upon the resultant welded plates so as to be ultrasonically welded. CONSTITUTION:A first ply and a second ply flat plastic plates 11 and 12 are put one upon the other so as to be welded with a first ultrasonic horn 22 having projected parts 32 and to form projected parts 41 on the outer surface of the second ply plastic plate 12. A third ply flat plastic plate 14 is put upon the second ply plastic plate so as to come into contact with the projected parts so as to melt the contact portions between the projected part and the third ply flat plastic plate 14 with an ultrasonic horn 23 having a flat pressing face in order to weld the projected part and the plate 14. Next by melting the contact portions between the projected parts 41 and the third ply flat plastic plate 14 with the ultrasonic horn 22 having the projected parts 32, a fourth ply flat plastic plate can be further ultrasonically welded onto the plate 14. By repeating similar process, a flat plastic plate laminate consisting of four ply or more of flat plastic plates can be formed.
