Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a neutral paper making method capable of providing an excellent size effect in spite of using a little amount of chemical additives by adding a specific neutral sizing agent, size fixative and yield-improving agent to a pulp fluid dispersion for paper making. CONSTITUTION: This method comprises adding (A) one or more kinds of neutral sizing agents selected from among an alkylketene dimmer-based sizing agent and alkenyl succinic anhydride, (B) one or more kinds of size fixatives selected from the copolymers of styrene and dialkylaminoalkyl(meth)acrylate or their quaternary compounds, and (C) one or more kinds of yield improving agents selected from the copolymer of (meth)acrylamide and dialkylaminoalkyl(meth) acrylate or their quaternary compounds to a pulp fluid dispersion, and then conducting a paper-making.
