Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce vibration with the titled device which supports supporting legs projecting in both external directions from the central part of a rotary compressor via a supporting member by making the supporting member of a vibration proof structure with inner and outer rim members connected with a group of S-shaped ribs. CONSTITUTION:A rotary compressor 1 having a closed housing 2 housing a motor-operated compressing element is provided with a cooling medium piping 4 of a cylindrical shape serving also as a supporting leg projecting from an end plate portion 3 at a position 3a on an axis 5 of the motor-operated compressing element. An inner edge portion 10a of a vibration proof supporting member 10 made of an elastic material and by connecting both cylindrical inner and outer edge portions 10a and 10b with a multiplicity of S-shaped ribs 10c is inserted in and fixed to said cooling medium piping 4. The outer edge portion 10b of the vibration-proof supporting member 10 is inserted in and fixed to a cylindrical supporting part 11a formed integrally with a supporting piece 11 which is screwed and fixed to a supporting plate 12 with a screw 13.
