Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a dye image to be stuck to a card and the like and to obtain a dye image forming element easy in manufacture and the method for sticking the dye image to the card and the like by using this element by enabling an adhesion face between an adhesive layer and a temporary support. CONSTITUTION:The dye image forming element is formed by successively laminating on the temporary support 11 the adhesive layer 12, a thin support 13, and a dye image forming layer 14, and the adhesion face (a) between the adhesive layer 12 and the thin support 13 or that (b) between the layer 12 and the temporary support 11 is made peelable. After the dye image has been formed in the layer 14, the image element having the support 13 and the layer 14 peeled from the adhesion face (a) or (b) and stuck to the article, such as a card, thus permitting the obtained dye image forming element to provide a high-quality dye image, to be facilitated in manufacture and development processing, etc., and to be prevented from wrinkling and cutting trouble.
