Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve a bending and tensile strength and a corrosion resistance, by integrating an exterior sheet layer material consisting of fiber-reinforced plastics onto the outer face of a main body consisting of concrete etc., and arranging the fiber direction of this exterior sheet layer material nearly along the direction of the pull applied on the main body. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical exterior sheet layer material 2 made of fiber- reinforced plastics (FRP) is integrated on the whole outer peripheral face of a main body 1 made of concrete etc., and fibrous lines 3 of the exterior sheet layer material 2 are arranged along the axial direction thereof. The exterior sheet layer material 2 is embedded to be used as a form, concrete etc., is casted into the form and set therein, and then the form is removed except the exterior sheet layer material 2, which is used as the exterior layer material 2 of the main body 1. The FRP is made by hardening yarns, fibrous cloth or fibrous mat of a glass fiber impregnated with a thermosetting resin such as unsaturated polyester resin etc., and it is hardened to be a cylindrical body in the state that the direction of the fibrous yarn 3 is arranged in the axial direction.
